2020 Was The Year Florence Pugh Became A Red Carpet Pro

The Little Women actress proved a point with her wardrobe this Award Season.

It's been a whirlwind past year for British actress Florence Pugh. Aside from starring in indie horror flick Midsommar and Greta Gerwig's remake of Little Women, the 24-year-old is also set to appear in the upcoming Marvel movie Black Widow, alongside Rachel Weisz and Scarlett Johansson.
She's also an Academy Award nominee, with her performance in Little Women ranking her among some of the industry's best.
Here at ELLE, we appreciate up-and-coming talent, but a knockout wardrobe is nice, too. And judging by Pugh's red carpet appearances of late, it would be fair to say she's definitely on the path to fashion stardom.
From the Dries van Noten x Christian Lacroix number she wore to the 2020 BAFTAs, to her Academy Awards dress (a custom Louis Vuitton gown by creative director Nicolas Ghesquière), Pugh's lookbook involves a visible affinity for ruffles, voluminous silhouettes, and an aesthetic that sets her aside from the rest of the Little Women cast.
With the help of stylist Rebecca Corbin Murray (who also counts Gemma Chan and Anna Paquin as loyal clients), Pugh has delivered consistently gorgeous red carpet looks throughout her career, making us even more excited about what's to come.
